The staff are driving you around the bend and each time you challenge them its always someone else who is to blame. You cannot prove it but you think a member of staff is giving cheap prices to their friends and other members of staff. You are not convinced that all the returns are genuine, and could even be a member of staff stealing, but you cannot watch the till 24 x 7.

The epos system is broken down into a series of programs and reports, which you can control which people are allowed to do which tasks. If you take the till for example the return of items would require a supervisor, a reason for return is required and can be looked at as a report with other returns later. Even when allowed to perform a task , all changes to prices and stock balances get recorded, so that you can look back and see who did what and when. You can watch an operator serving by monitoring their screen in the office, and also capture statistics of how well they are scanning and serving customers.
