TILL SOFTWARE FEATURES
The till system is comprehensive, so we explain what functions it can do, with screen shots as well
Overview
EPOS PRODUCTS .. TILLS .... PROMOTIONS / DISCOUNTS
Our Epos system developed with and for retailers provides solutions to the stock control issues of too much stock and too low profits.
Promotions are probably the best tool for promoting and also clearing stock as the till can perform far more complex tests to determine if special prices or discounts apply and all the operator has to do is scan the products.
Their effectiveness can be measured by recording the sales acheived and reporting on them and this also acts a prompt to do the same next year at the same time.
There are different promotions for different situations, multi buys, mix and match, link sales, cheapest free, kits of items , and supplier vouchers.

Basically irrespective of type the promotions can be set up on future active date ranges. This gives the merchandisers time to put out promotional signage and check stocks. On completion of the valid dates the product reverts back to normal list pricing. At the end of the day its the tills that do the hard work.

Benefits
Promotions are the mechanism for clearing these slow movers and it is better to recover the funds at low margin or even cost and buy faster movers.
The promotional offers allow all sorts of marketing possibilities that would be hard to administer on a conventional till, and again their effectiveness can be monitored, did they sell more or did they clear stock, or was I just giving away more money.
Multibuys , mix and match, and other promotions are carried out automatically
Due to the changing ranges offered by suppliers it is important to clear the old ranges before the end of the season, which we can now identify these items for price reductions or promotions, else we are left storing old stock until next year.
The promotion features and the customer information collected mean we can set up more suitable deals but also monitor their performance whilst still active
F.A.Q.S
ARE MY PROMOTIONS WORKING OR JUST SELLING FOR NO BENEFIT?
Promotions have numbered schemes and therefore all sales that relate to them can be collected and accumulated against them. This is good because they can be involving more than one product. Promotional vouchers can be taken as product price or tender reductions and counted accordingly. Products can be set to record say post code details for later analysis too. All promotions are recorded in against groups and readings.
ARE MY DISCOUNTS GIVEN WORKING OR JUST SELLING FOR NO BENEFIT?
Discounts are given at line or tender level and as such get recorded on the sale line. When a discount is given on total sale it will be apportioned across the lines sold proportional to the sales value. All discounts are recorded in total in groups reports and readings
