The tendering of a sale allows for multiple payment methods. You can offer mixed payment types using cash, credit card , cheque, credit notes, accounts or vouchers.


We cover credit cards in a seperate section as it is a bigger topic.

Some more advanced features will need to be run under supervisor control. Typical of this would sales refunds or cash drawer related actions like no sales or cash lifts.

The sale may be quite sizable and so customers asks for discount. This routine allows a total sale discount to be given as either money or percentage off.

The suppliers may put promotion vouchers in public circulation, and although these are valid offers , they may require a purchase of some goods to be given.

The till attempts to show a running total during the scanning of the goods in the basket. After tendering it performs a change calculation which is shows to the operator and customer and asks as a break between the start of the next sale..

CAN I OFFER MY OWN VOUCHERS ?
The vouchers get the number recorded when sold and checked off when used to pay


CAN I ISSUE CREDIT NOTES ?
If you want to issue credit notes , then the number is printed as a barcode on the receipt and scanned when used.


CAN I USE MY EXISTING PDQ TERMINALS ?
You can stay with bank terminal PDQ machines and just enter the credit card details into the till, but it is quicker and more accurate to have an integrated system.


IS IT HARD TO ADD INTEGRATED CHIP AND PIN ?
This can be added as soon as you sign up with a card bureau and broadband line.
